Anchoring an advertising creative on an LP Player on the roof of a car is gutsy stuff. The truth is that early in my time with the CRV e:HEV RS, I felt pretty uninspired. I’m not sure why I carried any expectation into the loan period though, because it’s not designed to be anything other than a conveyance. Ultimately the more time I spent behind the wheel, the more the engineering prowess and level of thought put into its design shone through.

I pedestalled the GX550 for a number of years. The reasons were varied; firstly because i hadn't had a chance to drive one as a contributor to other media outlets, and more importatnly because as a Lexus fan we needed an upgrade from our family car, a 2011 Lexus RX350.
