Driven. 2026 Nissan Navara ST-X
Nissan's Navara range has a long heritage providing Australia with a solid option for work or place. This 2026 ST-X variant shares much of its design with Mitsubishis Triton, a vehicle i reviewed a couple of years ago. So i did exactly the same test as i did in that vehicle to see which one is better

Driven. 2026 Ford F-150 Platinum
Ford F-150 is relatively new to Australian shores in its current guise. It provides size, comfort, amenity and towing capabability that surpasses many in the market. But its not without it's naysayers, who call for a ban of vehicle of this size. I set out to prove that the F-150 is no less safe than any other vehicle, anywhere in Australia

Driven: 2026 Honda CR-V e:HEV RS
Anchoring an advertising creative on an LP Player on the roof of a car is gutsy stuff. The truth is that early in my time with the CRV e:HEV RS, I felt pretty uninspired. I’m not sure why I carried any expectation into the loan period though, because it’s not designed to be anything other than a conveyance.
Ultimately the more time I spent behind the wheel, the more the engineering prowess and level of thought put into its design shone through.

Driven. 2026 Genesis GV70 Advanced 2.5T
As I reflected on a week in the Genesis GV70 Advanced 2.5T, I came to the realisation that this model was really the one I wanted to drive most in their SUV range. In a lot of ways, it represented the brand in my mind. he reason is unclear, but I suspect it was purely visual. There is a cohesiveness in the exterior design that really struck me from the moment I saw one.

First Drive of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 GR Sport
It's definitely a cool thing. Don’t expect it to be raw like a GR model, but it provides some added pep and driver enjoyment to a vehicle that would otherwise be a conveyance. It’s the perfect blend of form and function and might just be the family car of choice for GR enthusiasts out there.

Driven. Volvo ES90 Ultra Single Motor
In Volvo’s ES90 I find what I feel is perhaps the Car Guy’s Electric Vehicle. It’s beautiful outside, casting a low and wide visual that’s punctuated by that huge rolling stock combination. The interior is spacious and beautifully finished, with a truly delightful serenity regardless of external conditions. And it’s that level of serenity that means the lucky occupants can experience that incredible studio quality sound system at a standstill or on a roll.

Driven. Lexus LX500D Overtrail
If there was a recipe for Lexus’ LX500D Overtrail, it would start with a strong base-stock in the form of Toyota Landcruiser underpinnings. To this, one would add a liberal dash of Lexus refinement and luxury, and finally, a garnish of mud in places that are very hard to clean.
The truth is this could be the ultimate luxury off-road vehicle. It’s a big call, but a week in this leather-and-timber lined behemoth revealed very little that didn’t resonate with me.

Launch Drive: Ford Ranger Super Duty Pickup
It wasn’t that long ago that the Ford Ranger Super Duty was launched. In the process it created a market, proving that the team over at Ford Australia aren’t the type to rest on laurels. I recall enjoying the multi-day launch late last year . But there was one vehicle tucked away in a display depicting a camp scene that I kept coming back too. The Traction Green ensconced Pickup XLT Ranger Super Duty was the one that really stole my heart, which is why I was chuffed to get an
