Welcome!

So, it took some time, but we're finally here. I've finally taken the plunge and built my own web page!

Why? Well after writing for previous businesses, supporting clients create content, and playing journalist for motoring media entities, it's become abundantly clear that I'm just as passionate about writing as I am about motoring.

In fact, writing is as cathartic for me as time behind the wheel – crazy but true. I'm not trained to do either, it just comes to me, and sometimes it goes alright…

So my thought was, why not create my own space for my ramblings?

The Mission...

"To bring together all forms of motoring enthusiasm with opinion pieces, reviews and news."

There are plenty of great sites out there that focus on bringing the latest and greatest cars to the mainstream market, this space wont be that.

What you can expect to see here will be a different take on the motoring lifestyle, in as raw and real a format as you're likely to see.

Hopefully you read something here that you’ve thought of but couldn’t find elsewhere, or learn about something you didn’t know (or teach me a thing or two), or come across something relevant to motoring that everyone else missed.

I believe that as car people we don't get the right level of co-ordination amongst us. Be it street cars and the subsets beneath (think drag racing, circuit racing, vintage, JDM, muscle, stance etc), offroad (think touring versus technical) right through to motorcycling.

What isn’t often recognised is the commonality of passion amongst us. Fundamentally it’s about a guy or a girl behind the wheel or hanging onto the bars of something they love – navigating that thin line between man and machine.  If I can help bring these different passions together in one place I will have achieved my goal.

So, there you have it. It won't always be good, and you won’t always agree - and that's ok. I’d love to be able to have conversations on differing views.
