Following hot on the heels of the recently launched Ranger Super Duty Ford Australia has announced details of the "styleside" pickup, along with the addition of XLT variants across the range.

Whilst the cab chassis is versatile option for everyone from mine operators to off-road tourers, it was always the pickup variant that caught my eye.

With flared rear guards that follow the same design queues evident in the front, the overall design really comes to life with the rear tub in place. Chunky, squat and menacing in appearance; it maintains all the capability and engineering evident in the cab chassis.

Ground clearance and payload for the pickup remain unclear at this stage, with details to come closer to its arrival in mid-2026. Otherwise, all underpinnings are carried over and remain unchanged, including the 4500kg towing, 4500kg GVM and 8000kg GCM.

It's being coined the MY26.5 update by the brand, which also brings with it the XLT variant across the broadened range. Key differentiators from the "base" Super Duty include leather accented front seats which feature heating and ventilation, leather accented rear seats, beefy Super Duty branded 18-inch alloy wheels, carpet Floorings and front all-weather mats.

I'll take mine in Traction Green, a prestige colour which joins the range at a cost of $750 and is the perfect contrast to the dark charcoal wheels. Other options include no-cost Snorkel and rear seat removal, carpet floors for the cab chassis ($1500), Rock sliders ($1850), an in-house designed dual-battery setup ($1850), wheel nut indicators ($150), digital rear view mirror ($1250), and Aeroklas in bed drawers ($1250) that can only be ordered alongside a range of 3 different canopy setups that start at $4500.

Pricing for the base dual cab styleside pickup starts at $93,990 MLP, with the XLT variant coming in at $99,990. XLT variants of the Double Cab Cab chassis start at $95,990.
